Do you ever get writer’s block? Writer’s block is when you can not think of what to write next. It feels like your brain is stuck or something is blocking your brain from thinking of what to write. Practicing your writing skills can help your speaking skills. However, sometimes it feels like you just don’t know what to write!

Here are a few tips to try when you feel like you don’t know what else to include in your writing.

The Question Words

Did you address all the English question words? Does your writing include the answers to,

  • Who
  • What
  • When
  • Where
  • Why
  • How

Using all the Tenses

If you are a beginner or intermediate speaker you might be avoiding using all the tenses. If you are only speaking using the present tense you might be excluding important details about the past and future. Including all the tenses is also a great way to practice the different tenses! If you practice using the different tenses in your writing, you will start to feel more comfortable using them in your speaking!

I hope this helps solve your writer’s block! Do you have any questions? Leave them below! I will respond! 🙂
